It’s hard to blog in the {summer}!

Really, really hard!

And judging from the relative quietness in my Google Reader, I’m not the only one having a difficult time. :-)

We haven’t had a chance to go do much yet but I’m sure enjoying not HAVING to do anything.

We’re throwing around the idea of schooling year-round but I’m taking my sweet time making that decision.

Our neck of the woods has been insanely windy and full of wildfires thanks to an uncharacteristically dry winter, spring & summer. It’s terrible, a lot of people have lost their homes and some beautiful wilderness is totally destroyed. The fire most local to us was started thanks to someone playing with fireworks….::sigh::……fireworks in dry, forested, wilderness on a day with 70 MPH gusts…..not a great decision!

We have a few fun things coming up later in the summer but for now I’m perfectly content to have extra time to read, relax, enjoy the warmth and not do much else! Summer is easily my least favorite season but Montana summers are so short I’d be silly not to take in each and every minute.

Hopefully you can forgive me and are enjoying summer wherever you are too. I promise to try to be a better blog-person from now on! :-)

I seriously think it’s better to take a break at times and then come back. Reading, relaxing, and being outdoors gives you so many things to write about – keep a notebook handy and just enjoy your time with your kiddos!

We Love to Hear From You
